Took Dr. Vento online- summer 15wk session and thought the class was well set up and easy accessible. A discussion almost every week, sometimes two a week, sometimes none at all. Some weeks had a quiz, and a "pre write" which was free writing about a topic for 5 mins. Two tests. One 1000-1300 word synthesis paper. Easy A but you MUST do all work!!!

I'm a bio major. I have more important classes than this one such as ORGO and BIOCHEMISTRY. Vento expects a lot from you. Yes her exams are all on line, but her essay and paper assignments will take up a large part of your time-she isn't easy. I took the hybrid class and it seemed like the guest speakers talked more to Vento than the class.

Very nice lady. She is easy to talk to, and accepts all opinions. Yet, she has a tendency to complain about teaching. She comes late, grades are always late..Gives you a ton of reading, and expects you to do it over the weekend.

Good teacher, yes there is one assignment dues every week, but there are no tests. The assignments are rather easy. The course it self is mandatory so of course it will be boring, but she tries to make it as interesting as possible. All and all I think she is a very good teacher and will be taking her again for chritian tradition.

Compaired to other instructors, I thought professor really knew her material was pretty straightforward about her expectations. (I've noticed that the people who complain the most about needing to follow very standard rules about essay writing are usually the one's who should be picking fruit instead of attending college.)
