John Fannin is the best thing to happen to Murray State since it's founding. He is inspirational and cares about each one of his student's as his own kid. He is very easy to work with as long as you are willing to put in the effort to do wat he asks. He never calls the band to attention as long as we get set quickly and class gets out early often.

He truely cares about his students. When I joined the Racer Band he immediately set out to learn my name (and I'm a non music major). He is fun to be around and will help you if you need it. I highly recommend!

Very good for Racer Band. Instrumental classes were... interesting. I did learn the material, but it was tough to sit through it. He can ramble, but obviously cares about what he's teaching. His handwriting is terrible, though.
