Anyone that is CET may not actually see what he is like in a subject he doesn't know really well (so for you to judge is retarded, so just shut tfu). The class was decent and challenged us more than any other (I got more out of his class than most). You have to kiss a$$ to get a good grade and your final grade decided after 1st week of class.

John was easy for me. I wanted to learn and he taught me, for those who have no boundaries to their will to learn, john is a font of knowledge. Anyone not making it in his class will not make it in the real world. dont take non-programming from him though

This guy is so arrogant - we were supposed to be learning UML and spent the whole time programming in C. I got a great big ZERO from the class. What a waste of my time and money!

He is an intimidating teacher at first, but once you get know his teaching style he's great. He works with the students that actually want to learn. He needs to be given more credit as a teacher.

He taught me new information about programming, but his opinion of any other focus of the CIS degree that is not programming limited a class that wasn't supposed to be programming focused.

I have learned so much about programming in this course. It was hard, but I still enjoyed it. It's too bad a bunch of whiney CIS children seem to think that Prof. Hall is less than par, I think he is great.

CIS Sucks, you guys are too dumb to understand real programming techniques anyway so you blame your professor. Although the class was paced a little too slow for me, he taught a great deal of useful information, and was always there to help us.

Assignments are vague and informal. Grading appears to be very random. Due dates and important information regarding assignments are usually missing until the day said assignment is due.
