Keeps class interesting. Everything is done in groups. Practically tells you what to do if you can't figure out what is wrong with your code. Gives tons of E.C. for adding small details. Typically does not keep you in class the full time. Quizzes are impossible to fail. He pretty much tells you the answers to them. Highly recommend taking him.

Easy Easy Easy!!! If you need this class take him! I do not think he even has a grade book. Everytime I asked him for a grade he would say why would an A student want his grade. I missed a whole assignment in the beginning and still got an easy A. There are so many points for this class. Does not take up much time either.

Take him! gives out so many extra points if you make your programs "pretty". helps you out when you need it. jokes around, even though he's not that funny, but we still laughed. pretty much gave us the answers to the tests. book sucks, never read it. never had programming before, i learned a lot.

John is a great teacher and always available for help(even if it is just through email). The class was a lot of fun and even if you were computer illiterate like me at the beginning, you won't be at the end.
