Cool professor. 2 tests, not too hard. 4 quizzes; read the chapters and use online study guide for extra help. Group projects can suck if you have a lame group, but everyone usually gets a good grade regardless. Take home final is enormous; essay form, don't wait til last minute. xtra credit avail. Jorge is great help if you need it.

Cool professor! Easy class, won't take much effort to pass the class. Slides come straight out of readings. Group project easy and fun(groups do the teaching for a good 5 weeks). And Final is take-home =)

Great Professor, very helpful! Yes, "listen" to lectures(don't copy the text from the ppt. slides), tests are based on lecture. For the second half of the semester, start early with the readings and you will have most of your home take final answered. Do not wait to start your final essay until the the end, it takes time collect what you need.

Prof. Requelme is simply the best! He teaches well and is very helpful. His class is not easy for those who don't read the book and who seldom attends the class, but if you do it's an easy "A". YOu can pull up your grade on the essay questions and projects. Tip: Listen to his lectures! Most of his test is from the lectures.

the class is a bit difficult, and there is a lot of reading and if you don't do it. the reading is also very boring/hard to understand, but the lectures help a little. the project worse 40% of your grade is EASY and participation/attendance is 20% and that's easy too so even if you fail the 4 tests, you can get a D

This class will kick your butt with the amount of work you have to do for it, but he has to be one of the most intellegent professors I've had yet. Tests aren't too hard if you study, but the final is massive...don't put it off until the last week - you will get no sleep (I speak from experience)

I'm so sick of hearing about diversity. Most of us are all pretty open-minded so I hate for it to be drilled in any more. The profressor is really cool though. He still remembers me from last year and he always says hi on campus. Very friendly.

Class in not super easy. Can not bs. Teacher very helpful and knowledgable. We had 2 test, a final that was very brutal, and a group project. Teacher is very fair in grading. You can dispute a grade and 90% of time he will change in your favor. Prof. expected a lot, but also gave resources to help students.

Very helpful and clear. 2 in class exams and 2 take home but not in regular exam format(ie: one book review and one op-ed). 1 oral history project, but he guides you all the way through it. Great teacher.
