I really enjoyed going to see plays and orchestral performances. It gives you a chance to see something different for a change. Tv gets boring to watch (when we do get time to watch it). It is nice to take time out to be able to appreciate music and theatre.

Music History is the most challenging class you will take in the music department, and while it's a ton of work, if you keep up with it and do it all and try hard, you will do well. What I Like about her most is that when the whole class bombs a test, she wants to know how to help us all do better. Grade A Teacher!

dr. mabary is one of the best teachers i have ever had. she cares about her work and the students and will go the extra 10 miles to help students out when they need it. she is very enthusiastic and really knows her material well. i wish that more courses by her were available.

Had her and Smith for Sound & Symbol. She's a great teacher and person, but just be prepared to study a lot for Snd & Symbol - the tests are a challenge...I think they wanted us to know too much for a class where most of us weren't even music/art majors.
