A great teacher! She makes sure you understand the material and only tests on things she knows she absolutely went over. Papers are usually pretty easy as long as you complete them and hit all the points.

Karla was my favorite professor by far. She is more than willing to further clarify confusing concepts, always welcomes questions and proves that she really knows what she is teaching. Her notes are very straightforward and organized, and the study guides for the test are accurate for what the exams are like.

Karla is wonderful as a person and professor. She's really interesting, and you can tell she cares about her students -- she tries to learn everybody's name and get to know individual students. She gives good lectures and explains the content well. Not difficult if you do the assigned readings and take notes in class.

Karla is a great teacher. The material is easy to follow and she explains it very well. The articles go along with class lecture. There is no book, just pure notes. I loved this class. She knows her stuff, and the test are multiple choice. NO reason to not get an A

Karla Gingerich has been my favorite professor so far! I took PSY250 (research methods) previously and failed, but upon re-taking the class I got her as my professor and she made the material so easy to understand and made lectures fun! I ended up getting an A in the class because of her!

wholly molly this gal is absolutely AMAZING!! She has such an admirable passion for psychology and the learning of her students, and you can tell that she genuinely cares. She easily makes other people excited about psychological phenomena, and shes wonderfully approachable. Basically, if shes teaching a class, Ill be enrolled :)

I adored her. Her lectures are clear and not confusing. She actually uses canvas and always has materials at hand. Her exams are difficult but if you follow along with the study guides, they are a piece of cake. She was kind, funny, and very understanding with students. I love Karla

I had her for a class last year, and I am currently taking Psychology of Personality with her and she's so awesome. She clearly is very passionate about what she teaches, and she makes it so interesting. I always love going to her lectures. You need to read to do well on the exams.

Karla is very sweet! She is a clinical/counseling psychologist and she loves what she teaches! There are 4 regular exams, one warm-up exam at the beginning of the semester and then the final exam at the end of the semester. She gave us 4 papers to write throughout the semester. There are research hours you have to complete and a lot of extra credit

Dr. Gingerich is one of my favorite professors I have had so far. While I did not care for the content, Karla made class interesting and engaging, and I learned a lot in her class. Tests are not difficult, as long as you show up and take notes. She is very caring, and helped me when I had an unforeseen situation come up.

Karla's a great prof! The only problem I had was that there was so much material, there were usually several chapters on the test that she didn't have time to teach. Overall, the reading can be heavy but as long as you do it and pay attention in class the tests are easy!
