I love Kat! She's super laid back and hilarious but also super knowledgable about literature. I thoroughly enjoyed her class and want to take a class with her again. Participation is a must and you definitely need to read the required books to pass. Take this class you will not regret it! This class increased my love for books and other literature

Kathena is one of the best professors I've ever had! I took her for three straight semesters and I would take her every semester if I could. She's so helpful and supportive. She's always willing to give feedback on papers and assignments. She creates a warm and informal classroom setting. Everyone should take a class with Kathena!!!

Amazing teacher!! If i could, i would take her class again.She was soo helpful and gave me so much insight into my writing. She's fun, easy-going, and understanding. I would def. recommend her. I feel like i am a better writer because of her. My interest in English has also increased. I cant say it enough that she was absolutely fabulous!

Shes a really a sweetheart. Very nice, is always willing to look over your work if you have any problems. Shes there to help you not tear you down. She offers extra credit, and gives you notice of in class essays + there content as well as allows you to bring in notes for them. I would definitely take her again. Shes an amazing teacher.

I seriously enjoy her class, even at 8:30. She brings donuts and makes us play Simon says if we look sleepy. She is young, intelligent, and energetic. Gives a good amount of work but is willing to help every step of the way. I am learning a lot and having fun, I would take her class again!
