Continually boasts that she refuses to answer student questions, and real employable programmers shouldn't need to ask questions, and if you do your un-employable. Horrible teacher. If you don't know the material PRIOR coming to class, then it's useless. She's hateful, and will NOT help you. If you are not her favorite, then you can forget it. She only likes the students that will go to OU, so she can brag they were "hers: Don't take this class, unless you want to be put down and let down.

She is a very strict professor. However, if you are willing to be on time and work hard, this is the class for you. She is a great teacher who will spend a lot of her own time to help you. I learned a lot in this class. I would jump at the chance to take another class she teaches.

took java 101. absolutely, unequivocally, hands down, without a doubt in my mind the worst and meanest most closed minded teacher you will ever know. i have never been in a class where overachieving was discouraged, except this one! a very, VERY bad teacher. i would not wish upon anyone to have to take a class from her. ever! I am a programmer by trade and therefore speek from some sense of applicability. I did not care for her arrogance. She was rude. However, for the core of her class the handouts etc. were useful and her tests were an absolute joke they were so easy. Her programming assignments were easy and could have been cake if she were not a control freak. MadeA

I took her a couple years ago. She is one of the best professors I have ever had. She really got me interested in Java and C++. I think most of the people that are giving her bad ratings just are not made to be programmers. She weeds out the wannabes so the students that really should can advance. I would recommend her to any one willing to work.

what a terrible person, nevermind a bad teacher. stifling; would not let people read ahead/use classes not covered in class. if you know anything about the subject material she will make you feel stupid for overacheiving. i would sooner cut off my most valued appendage as waste a stream of my own **** to extinguish her flaming body.

Unhelpful on most questions, to the point of being mean. Unclear on many assignments. Rude and a total control freak. Brags way too much for nothing but an OKCCC instructor. Have no desire to take any other classes from her. Would avoid if possible. Looks like Cruella Deville!

She gives out notes that are verry helpful. I didn't even have to open my book. If you put forth an effort you will be reworded. She is verry fair. Be there on time every day. Use the sun documentation, computer lab help, and notes and her course is ez. Help is always availible.
