I took her online ECO/120 class this semester. I am not a lazy student and I do well in all my classes - she is a tough grader! Be prepared to do in depth discussion questions and you probably still won't get a perfect score. Class consists of two tests, discussion questions, and quizzes that you can take a couple time on each chapter you read.

Dr Ford's class was the first one I took after a long hiatus in the military and raising children. I cannot even begin to express how much her support and encouragement meant to me. As a bonus, I learned so much. God bless you, Kaya.

Dr. Ford is the best thing that happened to me in my academic life. I was really apprehensive about taking an econ course but she eased my anxiety from the get go. She responds to emails within minutes, is very encouraging in her feedback, and made this semester a very special one for me. I learned TONS!

Wow! I got into econ with much anxiety and fear. Dr. Ford is more present in the classroom than any traditional teacher I have ever had, she responds within minutes to my questions. Something is happening, I am LOVING economics. As long as you are willing to put in the effort, she is with you every step of the way. What charisma and kindness!

Dr. K is the coolest professor I have ever had. Too bad she now only teaches one course per semester and they fill up VERY quickly. As long as you are willing to work, she has your back all the way, she wants you to succeed, which is very inspirational. She replies to students' questions and emails 24/7, often within minutes. She loves her subject.

This was an online 8-week course. I would recommend this professor to anyone. She is clear, helpful, and very present for an online course. Will work with you, but you must put in the effort. A good, basic course and a solid professor.
