Dude knows his stuff. I have no doubt about that. However, Money and Banking was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've had in a class. He has a tendency to go off on tangents about unrelated topics, and the class is graded 80% by exams, 20% by homework. Unless you plan on selling your life to study for a single class, don't take it with him.

Gilsdorf is the man!! I had him for both Micro and Macro and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I even switched to a 7:50 class to have him as my instructor. Very knowledgeable and sure to wake you up in the morning if you're not already. Approachable, respectful, and hilarious. Take Econ from him.

I was so scared to take econ but he was such a great teacher it ended up being my favorite class. The content was new and hard for me and even though I didn't get the best grade he made it so I loved working for the class. He likes to move around and gesture while lecturing.

Gilsdorf is a great professor who is excited to teach Econ. He makes it really easy to understand and dare i say a little interesting. If you take Econ at Augsburg, take it with him. Just keep up on Aplia otherwise you will be screwed!

Very energetic & keeps class interesting. I took 2 classes from him -- both classes were enjoyable & extremely valuable/useful for an Econ major. Definitely try to get him for at least one class. All around good guy.
