Didn't like this class at all.My interest in English was minimal and now I know I don't want to be a journalist for sure. His grading is REALLY harsh, and don't expect higher than a 3.0 even if you work really hard. Don't expect for him to tell you what you're doing right, you'll always hear feedback on what you're doing wrong

I took him for the Contemporary British novel and it was the worst class I've had here at SLU, and I'm an English major! Incredibly boring, lectured every damn day, and was a tough grader. To be fair, he's smart as hell, pretty funny sometimes, and is fairly pleasant. If you don't do the work and/or contribute, however, he will mess up your world.
