Do not take him for 241. I had him for 247 and that was only bearable because it was mainly a vocab based test. Take anyone but him for 241, the man doesn't know how to teach nor cares for your well being in the class. More than half the class on the past two test have got D+ or lower and he doesn't allow for retakes.

The class itself is useless but this guy makes it unbearable. Study on your own time cause you wont be learning anything in class. The tests are ridiculous but he curves big time. The homework is totally irrelevant to the class.

He isn't nearly as bad as everyone makes him seem. Formula for an easy B: go to class (80% out of 100%), sit on desk using laptop for Facebook or w.e u desire, do hw (fairly easy) and study one day before test using powerpoint slides he gives out and you will be fine. Fairly easy class, fairly boring professor.

This is the most boring class i ever had. Attendance is mandatory so everyone that comes to class just sits on their facebook. He is rude and very unhelpful. Lectures come straight from powerpoints so you are not missing anything if you dont come to class. He also gives alot of homework but if you do it this class is an easy B.

Honestly, will you be bored during his class? Absolutely. Is the class itself hard? No way. He's definitely not as bad as how some people make him sound on this site. Study two days before exams, do the homework, and you're golden.

Took this class since it's required for business majors, not really all that difficult of a class as long as you study a night or two before a test and go to class two times a week. Do pay attention in class after the first 3 weeks or so though, the homework assignments tend to get difficult.

i think this was a fairly easy class the friday excel classes can be a little boring but overall he is very helpful, posts lectures/powerpoints online and gives extra credit, also the homework isnt due till the end of the semester

To start off, in class out of 40 students, there were only two As and I was one of them and another one is my roomate. You have to be dedicated and do all the work and get all above 93+ on all exams and be somewhat business talented to get A- in class. It is hard to get below B but extremely difficult to get A in his class. GL

Wow... talk about an awful teacher. 1) Answered his cell phone in the middle of class. 2) Explains the material wrong, and does not even understand some of the terms he's 'explaining' 3) Knows less about computers than his students 4) Boasts how important coming to class is, then wastes class time with comics and jokes. I want my money back.

Hes a sad excuse for a teacher, wish I would have read the comments about him on here before I took the class because its all true. Hes extremely monotone and boring while "teaching" and will bash you if you ask questions in class. Responds late to emails and tests are NOT easy. Try to get a tutor, youre going to need one.

This class stinks, however, my friend and I both got A's. The class average on one of the tests was a 50%! Read the book, do the extra credit, and attend class and you should be fine. He won't post grades on blackboard so just make sure you are keeping up with your peers. Thankfully, he curves at the end of the year.

He knows very little about computers and is easily confused when a student asks a question. With professors like this I don't know how Loyola can charge so much for tuition. I personally never had a teacher this bad even at the community college I went to.

read the book because he has such a bad teaching style nothing he says makes sense. extremely boring. dont buy the little book "how to lie with stats" i didnt open it once. Be prepared to get an F on an exam but he curves. I wouldnt recommend him.

There is so much I could say about this man. He lacks every necessary characteristic of a good professor. Please do not ever take him. He makes the class more difficult that it needs to be, and he provides little help in making the information easy to understand. He will forever be known as the worst teacher in the world to me.

Though he is a very nice man, he lacks good teaching skills. His tests are very difficult, and he in no way prepares you or even provides you with information on the tests. Questions on the test don't relate to homework or power points.

Worst professor I have ever had in my college career. Loyola should have fired him but can't because of tenure. He makes no sense in class, mymathlab is useless if studying for test, no possible way to study for test, handouts in chinese, very boring. Class average on tests C-. I dropped/withdrew from it with more than 50% of the class.

Nice guy, but that's about it. Lectures are extremely boring, tests are extremely hard, attendance is mandatory. He makes a subject that should be fairly easy, very hard to understand. Even if you have a good grasp on the concepts, the tests are worded so precisely that you are almost guaranteed to get a B or C on the tests, A's are very rare!
