Like everyone else has said, a fairly easy course with tons of videos and little assignments. Just basically pay attention to lectures and take notes if you want. As for the texts, I never really read them but only went through them a little when preparing notecards for the essay portions of the exams.

she talks fast but very clear and interesting. Make sure you read the chapter ahead and participate in class. Do all her works requirements and i'm sure you won't be left out. In this classes, you'll be annouce the quiz date and mini exam. 2 video papers to earn participation points and if you really want to get good grade, i suggest you find some

Good teacher-interesting and easy class. No papers, four tests. Didnt read a single page of any of the books - if you can listen and take notes, dont buy the books (hell, I didnt even take notes) She makes her quizzes sound hard but they are ALWAYs easier than you expect. Interesting class, I would reccomend it if your sick of typical US History.

Professor Davis is intimidating at first, but she kind of grows on you. She's not the devil and she's very compassionate. She's got a lot to say and certain procedures, but she's fine if you listen and follow directions. Also, if you do well on the presentation, then you'll do well in the class.

She is a nice person. Her class isn't very easy though. Her notes aren't very clear and she expects you to know everything she talks about. She gives you a group presentation and if you do very good in that you will definitely pass the class, if you don't, then study hard!

Great teacher.I hope to teach history like her one day.Makes history exciting and something you can relate to.Participate and listen to lectures and she gives u everything u need to know to pass.To get a really good grade, just read the chapters.She picks interesting text books.

She lectures a lot on those chapters/topics that she is particularly interested in. The rest you've got to read. she is a social historian. Take that into consideration. Also, she doesn't ask about dates. No extra credit in her class! I have mixed feelings as to whether I like her or not.
