Super chill professor! class consisted of two scenes and a monologue and a character analysis for each one of them. Easy A! As long as you practice your scene lines and use her feedback youll get an A! Would really recommend!

EASY A. She literally does not care if you turn in a paper you wrote for another class for her class. You don't even have to show up to get a good grade. Also, she's really nice and funny but borderline crazy. She's awesome.

You preform three scenes and one monolog, accompanied with a written report. Easy A, show up to class, participate, and pass. She is a very opinionated teacher, but caring and understanding if you let her know of a life problem beforehand. You don't have to be an amazing actor, she makes it easy to act as long as you just put in effort.

Long is a wonderful, helpful, and clear teacher. She allows us to revise our work as many times as we need to get the grade we truly want. She believes that this class is about learning from our mistakes and working together as a group. She may seem intimidating at first, but she is the complete opposite. She is understanding and listens to you.

TA100W class is a challenge, but at the end of the day Laura is there to push you through it and make a really awesome final project. Beginning of the semester, she'll as for a short 5pg script to be voted for a final group project. There are Animation, Film and TA majors, good crew to know and work with. Turn in work timely and you'll be fine.

I LOVE LAURA'S CLASS!!! When I declared a minor in Theatre Arts, my main concern was that I have stage fright! I've presented about 3 scenes in this class so far and I've talked in this class like I talk to my mother! Loud and Proud! HONESTLY THE BEST AND EASIEST TEACHER YOU WILL EVER HAVE! EASIEST A in the Universe indeed!!!!

yes, she is very opinionated but she will never try to change your mind, she will only challenge you. There is nothing wrong with that. I went into this class thinking it was going to be one of my hardest classes, but it was fun, and if you went to most of the classes you were able to hear what she wanted in her papers. It was a great class!

I took Laura Long's beginners acting class and I would have to say it was one of the greatest GE courses I have taken. Even if you're a shy person, this class allows you to open yourself up to new things, as well as create bonds with other classmates. Her class is easy if you stay on top of your work.Just be prepared for some memorization!

What can we say about Laura? Yes, she does like to question your opinion sometimes, but I just think she does it to get more of an understanding of your view and where you're coming from. Class was very fun and the work load wasn't TOO hard, but we still have assignments every now and then. Overall, she was okay...

If you're in a show: ANGRY ALL THE TIME. Actually, is infamous among students for blowing up during rehearsals. NEVER be late, will stop rehearsal and make everyone stare at you if you are. VERY in LOVE with herself. Everything is about herself and "MY show" and takes advantage of everybody else. NOT FUN. She is also very confused all the time...

Laura Long...I don't really know what to say, but just to show up to class and do your work. And yes, she is known for questioning you about your opinion, but she's just doing that to get some justification out of it; no hard feelings on the students or anything. Overall, VERY fun class and the workload isn't so bad.

I loved Laura's class. She was very helpful in wanting all of her students to improve their acting skills, and she does not sugar coat what she thnks. Its best to not disagree with her very much, but just listen and take her comments seriously. I felt that I improved in her class, and look forward to other classes with her.

Excellent teacher--just do the work and go to class. Fair grader but in discussions, if she has an opinion about something and she disagrees with you, better to just let her be right! You'll look stupid either way. It's just her nature.
