Do not take this class at all as him as the teacher. You will be bored out of your minds if you do. It is a very boring class and he gives mad writing assignments. Everybody is either sleeping or on their phones. The tests are mad hard. If u skip class you will not understand anything in that class with him. This class is mad work and difficult.

I had Layne Bonaparte years ago 2005 I think. He did not care about the class at all. He wanted to quit because we were not learning Vista. Well years later we know Vista was terrible. Professor Bonaparte came across rude and arrogant thinking he is above all. I went to a real college afterward and got a real degree and am now really a programmer.

He know's the material and tries to make sure everyone understands it. But he forces you to work in groups on assignments so the people who are good can do his job and teach the people who aren't good

If you are not invested into the class day 1, you will fall behind easily and quickly. Even missing 1 class can set you off trail, as there may be quizzes, class/pop assignments you can miss. There is a lot of work involved in this class, but the guidelines are clear. He is understanding and willing to work with you if you have any disputes.

He give 3 take home test and 3 in class test which are based on the take home test. Also, he gives a lot of extra credit. If you do well, you can even skip the final test. He is very patient and nice to students.

We are struggling whole semester. As an international student I spend over thousand dollar for this class but as a result I learn nothing, get a poor grade and waste my time and money. This professor cant teach to be honest. He should teach the basic at least before gave us a large project. Dont take him if u wanna learn something.

Had to withdraw from the class since this professor isn't clear on teaching and gives too much homework everytime and he expects you to master them since i have no experience in coding whatsoever. Only take his class if you're a master at coding, if not AVOID him at all costs.

This professor is absolutely ridiculous. On the first day he will give you 4 programming assignments without any direction which he expects you to master to proceed on. He jumps around from chapter to chapter. Unclear when talking. Take him if you're a master, if not avoid him at all cost. I already know my fate in this class, I'm going to fail.

Gives you a mountain of homework to do on within a very short time frame. Most of the assignments he gives, he expects you to master right away. He assigns work on subject material he's barely covered at all in class . If you already are good at coding then take him but if you're new or just starting to learn then avoid him at all costs.

Doesn't cover all the material for the chapter in class and assigns homework based on the parts he hasn't covered. His assignments are difficult and he assigns several at once with little time to complete all of them. This is supposed to be a beginning level class...

very nice professor and good at what he does but be prepared to do a lot of work on the computers, most are very long work that can take even up to 3 classes to get done, but very easy work. Buying the required books is VERY IMPORTANT because with out them you will fall behind and it will be difficult to catch up.
