I was an undergraduate taking a graduate algebra class, so I sort of expected to be left in the dust. However, he kept things down to earth and understandable. His choices of homework was very helpful in preparing for the two tests we head, and he dropped the lowest problem set grade. Overall very helpful and informative.

I took him for analytical trig. I busted my ass in his class and received a D. I hate to make excuses, but it was the teachers fault. I went from a 105% in pre algebra to a 100% in Algebra to a damn D in Trig. This bozo crams 3 or 4 credit hours into a 2 credit hour course.Your only grades are a couple quizes and tests. Dont Take Him!

holy cow this man is not the greatest teacher! he is a nice guy, but thats about all he has going for him. He gets confused while teaching and does most of his work in his head so almost everone is confused! I wouldn't take him unless you are good at teaching yourself...

liked the teacher, liked the content, HATED how the class was run... not sure why but it was extremely difficult for me. i spent hours a week studying doing extra homework. after a C on the first test, I pulled out an A in the class.

I had this man for Calc II, and I looked forward to it every day. I tended to call him "Father Christmas" behind his back because he was always in a good mood and made things like Trigonometric Substitution fun just by his mannerisms. He took time every day to answer questions and was always helpful. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Comerford made Abstract Algebra understandable and interesting. Any math major (or any person who understands that math is not about memorizing procedure) will learn from him.

This guy was a vindictive jerk that took pleasure in getting people to drop the class. Said that he likes smaller class sizes. His tests were few and far between and covered 4-5 chapters of information and contained combinations of theories never covered
