Takes 3 hours to teach 45min worth of material with unnecessary hourly breaks. Exam answers are ambiguous and she keeps the class average at 70. I would say her personality is that of someone who feels their education in psychology makes them all knowing and that physicians should be replaced by psychologists.

Absolutely hated this class. This class brought my GPA down ridiculously. The prof made this class harder than it really should have been. I find this course topic to be interesting and found the textbook a pleasure to read, but the exams did not complement what we learned in the textbook at all. I always felt that there were more than one answer t

It is almost hilarious how terrible this course is, and Professor Swartzman is without a doubt the main reason for this. The tests are ridiculous, the lectures are beyond boring, and about 1/3 of class time is spent enjoying classic science movies from the 90's everyone likely remembers from grade 11-12 science classes. Fun, right!

Agree with all above statements. Lectures do not need to be that long, material is easy stuff, exams harder than they should/need to be. good class spoiled by the prof.

This prof is totally boring and thinks her silly little course is the most important stuff ever so she makes every class go so long. The course material is easy, and mostly common sense, but she makes the tests way harder than they need to be. So poorly worded, every answer is arguable and it just pisses everyone off. Don't take her course.

She has found a way to make this class the worst 3 hours for me every week. She should not be a teacher. She tells us to prepare for her exams we need to get "in her head" Studying hardcore from lecture slides and the textbook is not enough...apparently. DO NOT take a class with Swartzman, i promise you will regret it! P.s. you're not funny

This is my 4th year at University...I have had many, many professors. Swartzman is by far the worst prof I have ever had!! Her questions on the exams are not logical, you can know the stuff inside and out, and she will find a way to screw you over. Lectures are the full 3 hours, extremely boring, and could be just as easily done in about 45 minutes
