Nice guy, but a terrible teacher. Had no clue what was going on or what I was supposed to be doing for this class. Somehow ended up passing (thank god) but it was definitely a waste of time.

He's a rare sort of professor, one who truly seems to care about his students; he is willing to help you, whether through group study sessions, one-on-one talks, or feedback on homework. At the same time, however, I had a lot of trouble understanding this class because his lectures are awfully disorganized and often confusing.

He is a terrific professor. However sometimes the lectures seem to take forever. Participation definitely decides whether or not the class is interesting.

This professor led me to the door to exploring the world of thought, gave me the key to the door, slapped me on the back, and said, "Go in there and enjoy, here's a map; there are some hidden treasures and some pitfalls; be careful, I'll see you on the other side! I can't wait to hear what you have learned." Thank you Thank you and Thank you.

He talks in circles about what he is explaining all the while giving you different reasons so you are never quite sure what you need to be doing. He makes no point in telling you the reason that this course is even being taught except to test the validity of a statement which no one uses in the actual world. Pointless class.

Professor Meyer is one of the kindest, most helpful instructors at USD. Unlike a lot of profs who are "all into themselves," Meyer seems genuinely interested in what the students have to say. He treats his students like fellow scholars and grades fairly.

Dr. Meyer is hard to follow in lecture and can seem somewhat unorganized. I got a philosophy degree at USD, so I have taken several classes with him. Very smart, knows A Lot, but not for everyone. Wants the students to learn on own, which isnt for all

Absolutely hated this class and this teacher!! A complete waste of time and money. I think generally Meyer is a nice guy, but an AWFUL teacher. Expects you to be an expert on the subject, very harsh grader. Didn't learn anything at all.
