I already graduated and had a couple classes with Dr. Etzkorn my senior semester. She is very under rated on here I think. She is very sweet and if you go to class and pay attention you will do well. Truth be told her classes were some of my easiest despite being 400 level. There will not be a huge amount of structure though so listen in class

are not very prepared for the class. she jumps around with topic and even when watching her recorded video of the class still loses me. not a really good prof. feels like she knows too much and can't related anything back to the students. Doesn't explain thins very well either. DO NOT take her if possible.

She gives pretty boring lectures, but don't worry 'cause she's a slide reader. The only grades are tests and a couple of projects, but they're not that hard. The amount of slides are overwhelming to study all though, so show up to the pre-test reviews to pinpoint what to study. Overall, you will fall asleep in class/wonder why you show up.

A very easy class, but very disorganized. She keeps jumping around, and it got confusing, but the material isn't hard to pick up if you try. She's a very lenient grader (half of the class had an A). Her exams are based on previous exams (which she gives you.. so it's impossible to fail)

She is BAD. Her classes are boring and she teaches outdated material. Her projects are inconsistent and she keeps changing the requirements as she cant decide on one. Her exams are bad and her grading is erratic and unfair sometimes. Not taking any of her classes again.

Lectures can be a bit boring, but she is really nice. Old tests and material are online, which helps you prepare and makes the tests easy. She is available for office hours and will help you if you need it.

She seems nice but like other comments stated, not the teacher for you if you like or need a structured learning enviroment. She did not seem prepared for any of the lectures and used premade slides that she didn't know the order for. You will need to use a pencil for notes in this class because she stops and changes what she says every 5 minutes.

Professor was more concerned about the Faculty Senate than teaching her class. I learned more about the internal workings of my school than I did on the subject matter. The days that she did teach they were from slides made from other professors or text books we did not have.

Lectures were never clear. Had to refer to the book many times in her lectures just to understand her main point. Heavily relied on the book and the lectures were filler information. Not approachable after class and not understanding of having to miss a class due to illness or work. Good teacher if you like to ponder anything and everything.

Not the best instructor, but certainly not the worst. A lot of filler material in the class that isn't relevant to the course. You can't fail if you try, but is an excellent researcher. Has caught some students cheating because she knows subject area well and is familiar with the leading papers in the area. Cheaters beware!

Great grad school professor, especially for those interested in research. Classes are loose, programs are hard, tests are easy to study for because she gives you tests from previous years to prepare with. Knows her area very well. If you like structure, she's not for you, but if you like to ponder and discuss in class, come on in.
