would not take this class over. Dr. Jordan only cares about her sport players and is a very unorganized professor who is never sure about what to teach that day. She also is easily distracted which is highly annoying because with all the times she stopped to tell people to pay attention I never learned anything.

Dr. J was by far my favorite professor my first semester. She gives lots of extra help as long as you read, do the assignments, and come to class. She is reasonable as long as you actually try. No tests, just papers. She loves to talk, so getting off topic is easy, especially when it comes to basketball or her college experiences.

Dr. Jordan is an excellent professor! At first she was a bit hard to follow but if you come to class, take notes, and pay attention you will do well. Ask for help if you're confused too, she is very good at explaining something again. I took two courses with her and would take another in a heartbeat!

Had for CW1. She favors sports kids so if you're one of them, take her class otherwise,I'd avoid like the plague. Take Bayer's class. She makes you work, but what you do in her class actually will help you.I hate writing& its not my major,but it's useful for ANY major so take it seriously. Dr. J is the best teacher ever! She is a little goofy but that's what makes her class so fun. If you come to class and work hard you are guaranteed an A; she will make sure of it! She always has funny stories to tell during class and she's my #1 recommendation for English teachers.

I took linguistics with Dr. J. By no means is this an easy course. Dr. J always explained the material well, is very easy to talk to if you have any questions or problems with the course, and goes out of her way to help if need be. I've heard she's great for other English classes too.
