I struggled with this class at first, but I realized once ask questions and engage her in conversation she becomes less anxious and the class is far for enjoyable for both parties. When her classes don't participate, she is not happy. Other than that, the class was writing intensive and very much concentrated on theater literature.

the thing i hated the most was that unless you're a theater major, she hates you. textbook readings every night & essays at least once a week. her lectures have nothing to do with anything, so pointless

I had this professor for World Literature, and the class was super fun, but only because the material interests me. She was VERY unclear and anxious. I sometimes was not sure what assignments I was assigned to do. The text books were used ALOT. And there was alot of classdiscussion/participation. I felt like she was unreachable.

Probably the most feminist teacher I've ever had, I'm a female saying so. The class was on literature, and but she conducted it as if it was her theatre classes. Plays favorites. A girl in my class who sat up front told me she handed in her paper a week late and got an A, the girl next to me turned hers in on time and received a much lower grade.

She is very knowledgable in her subject area. She was nice and helpful. We had to read like ten plays in which we had quizzes on and writing assignments about. There is one big research paper also, plus a presentation and play reviews. Lots of writing! But it's fun if you like english and theatre. She lead on some good discussions which was fun.

DR.Wilde knows her stuff, but most of the kids don't, so it makes it hard to get an easy grade. She has high expectations, which is fine, but she is always available to help. She encourages class discussions, and as my friend figured out quickly, if you want an even better grade on your paper, take the position of a liberal or democrat :)
