I loved Dr. Measures. Her entertaining antics in class made math enjoyable for me. Though tough, I was able to pass the last mathematics course needed for my degree plan.

As others have said very scatter brained, and has a tendency to procrastinate. But she is a very nice person, unless you do something to make her mad. Only real complaint is she tends to post study guides the night before final exams.

I honestly thought this was her first time teaching this course, in Fall 2014 - every single lecture made me want to punch a wall. Absolutely incoherent, jumping from one topic to the next, with no rhyme or reason. It was madness. She knows the material, just communicates it in an incredibly disorganized fashion. Be prepared.

She was one of the best teachers I had. We had a textbook but it was too much money so she returned them all. She is kind if scatter brain but if you are there to learn and take note then she is there to help you. And asking questions helps

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! Statistics is shown how to do on a calculater, she wont use the book to follow through on examples, like previouse statements too fast, all over the place, and a dictator to the core. I will end up dropping this class when Its time to drop. so sad I wanted to learn statistics. General bad teaching methods.

While She has some understanding of mineral Science and could probably do very well in a laboratory setting, Dr. Liz Measures makes a terrible teacher. Her instruction is incoherent. class order is subject to change without notice or reason. She misses class on a regular basis (with no prior notice).most of all she will fail you for correcting her

Personality: Kind of wacky, hectic, frazzles, pretty down to earth, honest, forgiving. Teaching style: Hard. I had to take remedial math and I didn't know better. She is very thorough on technique and was pleased that I learned a new one to do things. I tortured myself with her for 0300 and 0301. Shes rough, but you will learn something!

Walked into class the first day cussing about having to teach the course.Prof did not follow syllabus, gave out new assignments on new material last day of class (as well as a take home test and final)! Course should be better next time (hopefully). My advice: grit and bear it. For geol majors, this is the only required course she teaches.
