Didn't really enjoy the class.Her lectures were too long and she made it hard to listen to for 2 hrs.She goes off on random tangents that don't pertain to anything.mand ex credi.If u are a visual learner don't take her courses b/c she just lectures.Only gives 1 or 2 tests and a huge presentation/paper project.couldn't stand course, had to withdraw.

Class was very interesting. Great topics! Classwork was mostly discussion boards plus midterm and term paper. Could skip final if your grades were good and wouldn't change your average. Prof Xena Rocks!

I did not enjoy this class at the beginning when taking notes. The class got inetersting and fun after a few weeks. She only has 1 test and then a project, both are real easy. She grades easy and is very opininated. Very good teacher for your first semester freshman year!!

The classes are long, some topic are very interesting others are not. She has a crazy way of grading but usually turns out in your favor. Tests are clear cut and based on the classes and readings. Her priority is teaching and its very evident.

Easiest class by far due to her grading system based solely on extra-credit - no quizzes or exams. Extremely boring. There is no structure or book!! I still don't understand what the point was. You get to hear her soap-box speeches. It's a good class to boost your GPA, just beware it sucks horribly.

Social Problems with Prof. Lawless, aka how I learned to hate the Bush administration. She's a typical moaning and groaning liberal professor in MA, so if you too are a left-winger, you'd probably love the class. All she does is talk about herself and how screwed up she believes the country is.

i love lawless. her classes can be pretty random bc it seems she loves to go off onto tangents. but shes a great professor- she loves when u get into what shes saying, so play along. and i recommend doing the club rather than the paper if ur taking social problems :)
