Honestly, I wasn't excited about this class because I didn't think that I was good at writing. But it ended up being one of my favorite classes. Writing in this class was so much fun and the professor is really nice and helpful. He'll help you find stories to write about and give you advise on how to make it better. 10/10 would recommend.

Professor Schwartz is the best professor at MSU. He is incredibly knowledgeable, yet humble and approachable. He is charitable, and easy to work with. He wants what is best for each and every one of his students. He makes the most boring topic of law--contracts-- fun and interesting to learn. He works magic. TAKE HIM.

Schwartz is a nice guy! Good professor but the subject can be challenging. Would not recommend taking the course if you have no interest in law or aren't majoring in it. Also his tests can be very challenging! Make sure you study for all of them!

This professor makes law so interesting. He is funny but also very insightful. 3 exams, attendance, and one paper is the only work he gives. He is easy to contact, and he tries hard to know each person personally. Would take him again and again.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! Loved him. He was so passive and understanding. Very interesting to listen to even during a 3 hour lecture. He would bring in newspapers to every class and always made sure we reviewed for the exam the following week. The book you have to read at the end isn't interesting for everyone, but if you like lawyerly stuff, you're good.

You HAVE to take Prof. Schwartz! Easy A! He is very patient, understanding to his students and his lectures are very interesting. As long as you study hard for the exams (3 exams, 1 paper) you'll do fine because he tells you what's on it. Participate! There's also a book you must read for the final. He has inspired me to follow my dreams :)

Over my 4 years at MSU, Professor Schwartz is my all time favorite. I took every class he's taught. He is so compassionate, fun, and intellectually incredible. He relates everything you learn to real life examples, and accepts all student questions no matter how big or small, and if he doesn't know, he'll research it for next class. Great guy!

Professor Schwartz is hands down the best professor I've had in my time at MSU. He actually tries to communicate with the students in his class in a personable way, rather than boring you with long lectures or trying to stick to a strict syllabus. He taught me so much, and I hope to be able to take him again before I graduate!

Two simple assignments + midterm + final; easy A. Participation/ attendance is 25% of your grade. Pay attention during class, especially the midterm and final review and you'll do well. You can get an A without doing the readings as long as you take notes and pay attention every week so you don't need the book. Would definitely take again

He inspired me to pursue law. He is awesome! A great professor who knows his stuff and is hilarious. He's an easy grader for the most part and will always help you out if you need it. Participation in class is a must, like any law class,but he makes the conversation always interesting. if you take good notes in class you won't need to read as much.

I took this class 2 semesters ago and forgot to give this professor a rating..this was my favorite class I have ever taken at MSU. Prof Schwartz is interesting and comical. His tests aren't that bad if you pay attention in class and take good notes..definitely would recommend taking his class!!!!

Class feels like a drag at times, but the guy is pretty funny and is obsessed about The Simpsons. The exams are a tad tough, but he gives a full review beforehand. Have to write a paper about sitting in on court cases. Overall, a nice class to take.

Professor Schwartz rocks. He's very smart and loves to have discussions. He doesn't mind getting off topic as long as it pertains to law in some way shape or form. He's awesome. The class may be 2 and a half hours but it flies by real fast. Whether you're interested in law or not, you will find his lectures interesting. The tests are pretty easy if you study, and he tells you what is exactly on it. There's also one paper. Overall, great class, totally worth it.

This man is amazing. Going to law school has always been my dream but he's just made it all much clearer for me. I'm SURE that i want to go to law school now. Fun, interesting, intriguing class.. He gets everyone motivated. Do the reading, study the study guide thoroughly before each exam and you'll do well. TAKE HIM!
