Comment:

Mario is really nice and genuine. He honestly cares about his students. I was having a really rough day and I fell asleep in his class. Right after his class I had his lab hours and he came up to me and asked if I was okay (which I wasn't), and offered to email me the lecture slides I missed when I was sleeping. Really chill, wonderful prof.

Comment:

Though the powerpoints and lectures in class are awfully long and boring, Mario himself is a really great teacher and person. If you don't understand something, just ask - he's really laid back. Shop hours (which are required) are more useful than the actual class as far as teaching you hands-on skills you will use later in your career.

Mario Tooch is an amazing teacher, who will help you if the need arises. I know I fell behind in his class and he still went above and beyond to help me. He's one of the busiest men in the department, so occasionally he doesn't get back to you instantly, but if you have questions and ask him during class, he's more than willing to help you.
