Comment:
Frost challenges students to participate in the academic process. This puts some off. His lectures are clear, insightful, and laced with real-world examples. He's a cool dude too. Unlike all of my other econ classes, the lectures were provocative. Attending class and not being a dil ensures an A. Frost is a game-changer.

I think Money & Banking was harder than it needed to be. The professor encouraged developing persuasive writing skills over grasping economic concepts and sometimes assumed you knew more than you've been taught. Outside reading is HEAVILY emphasized, but you don't review them in class. Overall stimulating lectures with high expectations for work.

I had the displeasure of having Mr. Frost at UTD and SMU. I had him at SMU last and I can say definitely one of the dumbest professors I have had. He constantly goes off topic and is not very familiar with the information he is teaching. I would highly suggest taking with another professor.

This guy is awesome! He actually makes economics interesting but his class is not easy. If you pay attention and read what he assigns then you can definitely get a good grade. He is there to help you but if you don't try then he won't care. Take this class.

Ive taken Frost for 1311, 1312, and 3355. He is the best teacher you will come by at SMU. He will make you work, but you will come out of the class with knowledge you can actually use. He gives you a lot of food for thought if you take the time to stay after class. Hes the type of professor you will always remember.

If you want to ruin your GPA then take the class. He teaches very well but what's the point if your end up with a C. If I were to reverse it, I'd take an easy Macro Professor and Audit Mark Frost's class instead.

Ammoral/Immoral, but he's honest about it. Encourages the idea that the only moral restraint of business should be what is decided in court, but the courts favor big business heavily (better lawyers, better access to information, etc). Class is easy if you're not an idiot.
