Stay away!! Don't take her. She's not helpful: when I tried going into her office for help, she was distracted and simply gave me an old test to look over so she wouldn't have to speak to me. Also, she smirks when you ask questions. And tests are hard. Even though I studied my best, I still got a B.

Dr. Ironsmith is the type of professor who knows what she's talking about, but is not very good at teaching it to the rest of the class. She will KILL you on APA papers, and will not show much mercy, even when you show that you care and revise it a million times over with her own corrections. Be prepared to work harder than ever in this class.

She is a really good professor who knows what she teaches well. Shes not easy so if youre lazy you wont like her. You'll have to work hard, but if you really want to learn shes great! And she'll help you out if you just ask!

I had her for PSYC 3206. She doesn't take attendance, but she does teach things that aren't in the book sometimes. Her tests are all but easy which adds difficulty to the class. If you read the book and STUDY you can handle it.

By far my favorite teacher, yeh she is tough and doesnt take any **** but she knows her stuff! She has been one of the most inspirational and helpful teachers here at ECU. TAKE HER, just know that as long as you do what your supposed to do then you will love her.

Shes a nice professor, but that doesnt mean that she will benifit your GPA. She is without a doubt the worst exp professor. I made all A's or B's on her weekly quizes, but still failed the course because of her grading poilicy on her APA papers. she does things no other prof will make you do that hurt everyones grade in the class. DO NOT TAKE HER FOR THIS CLASS. She is not helpful what so ever. She makes you do all this stuff that no other professor makes you do for exp. psych. Then she will make you do HW and after you did it she will say you didnt have to do it, so its a waste of your time. She messes up on stuff all the time. I repeat DONT TAKE HER. you WILL regret it.

She was a great teach. I took her for summer school. her concepts were very clear. Her homework was easy and so was her test. she has no attendence policy but it would be very good if you are there. her letures are key.

Took the internet version, you have to do those stupid modules, but the final was easy. You did learn a lot, just stay on top of your work, get through week by week and it shouldn't be hard. You need to have a flexable schedual to go take the weekly 20-question quizzes during their lab hours.

I took the campus version and I learned alot and did my work, so I did well. A lot of you are complaining about internet classes. I have taken several of both campus and internet classes and have found in my experience, at least, that internet classes require MUCH more time.

i'm currently taking the internet class and i HATE it! i have spent A LOT of time on the modules. i think it would have been better/easier if i had just taken the class section. she's not helpful at all. avoid her if possible.

If you're going for an easy class, don't bother taking Ironsmith. She is a wonderful professor who really knows her material and I've never been confused after her lectures, but her tests are hard. You have to know the material inside and out. GO TO CLASS, do your hw and STUDY. You'll learn a lot.
