I had Dr. Byron for more than one class over the years, starting from freshman year the whole way up to my senior year. Yes, he is completely anal and at times a bit rude, but there's just something about him that you have to love. He deeply does care about his students (though his ways of showing it can be strange). He's hilarious to be in a room

Dr. Byron is overall a good prof. He is great at providing extra help outside the classroom, but it has been my exp with him recently that has shown he has an explosive temper. His very anal about not disrupting his schedule, but when comes to respecting your time it's a different story. If you have him as your adviser for stud. teaching beware!

I love Byron! While I agree that he can appear to be a little impatient/irritated at times, he really does want to be helpful. And generally he really is very friendly and helpful; it just pays to pick your times wisely when you need to bother him. :) But I loved him and his stories!
