Needed a gen ed in English and decided to take his Lit class. Best decision I made my first semester at WSU. Relates great to the students, fun discussion, cool guy. Take his class if you need and English credit.

There is a requirement of going to class but he only takes attendance the first 2 or 3 classes. Hes computer illerate. He missed a lot of classes, and the rest were over in 30minutes. Easy class to pass if you have some friends in it, that will keep you informed. You can turn papers in late without deduction of grade. Pay attention last month!!!!!!

You have got to be kidding this was the biggest joke of a class and biggest waste of my money ever. The guy missed like double digit classes most with no notice to us. Had another double digit classes that lasted less then 30 min. Got an A in the class and got nothing out of it. If you want to pay for an A and do nothing to get it take this class!

If there is one negative thing to say about Cissell it's that he doesn't teach any upper level classes. He likes what he does, and he makes class enjoyable. He'll work with you, and you can easily earn a good grade. It's too bad I won't have him in classes pertaining to my major.

Went above an beyond to make an otherwise boring class interesting. It meant more reading, but also more insight. Be prepared to share your opinion and be able to back it up. Grades tougher than some, but it's not impossible to get an A.

Cissell's class about simplicty is excelent. He is enthusiastic, and very intelligent so the discussions are never dull and the class flys by. I would reccomend this class to anyone.
