You can read the book all you want and take notes and study, but it won't do you any good. He doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Probably from that tumor that he's got in his head which makes him spastic. Don't sit up front! His tests are very confusing and he is very unfair with grading. Thumbs down for this jerk

Very hard class. Tests were extremely hard, often had little or nothing to do with Lecture notes. Class average on 3 out of 4 test was below 60%. Went on rants, was unprepared to answer questions that did was not directly related to lecture. Got into arguments with students. Thank God I passed this class, I'll never have to take it again!!

I hate this man with a passion. He is rude, inconsiderate, and tricky, regardless of what his syllabus says. If any prof. has to put in his outline that he isn't tricky, something is wrong. Don't take him if at all possible... when the class grade average is a 71.5, it isn't the students that have the problem... its the professor.

I had him for Deviant Behavior and Social Probs...he is arrogant, rude, sometimes ****, and EXTREMELY hard. He does not care if you pass or fail and is not willing to assist you in any manner. The first paper we wrote for deviant behavior had an average score for the class of "D"...he does not clearly specify assignments, and his tests are horrible. Avoid this man at all costs.

I had Olson for deviant behavior and social problems.Read the book carefully, and youll do well, the lectures are a waste of time, but he still takes attendance.He can be a real mean person, so if you have to take him its a good idea to sit in the back and keep quiet.he likes to make fun of students

Olsen seems intent on failing as many students as possible. His exams are tricky. Exams are about mundane facts rather than overall ideas. He's also very hard to follow during lectures, because he bounces around the room.

Awful teacher. He lectures the entire class and tests you on material that wasnt in the lecture. He doesnt appear to care about whether or not his students pass because clearly few do. Unless you dont have a choice, dont take him. You will fail.

Very good man. He intends for people to learn, and a lot of students are not there for that. Great professor, because even if you do not get an A you take more from his class.
