Miho Lee is a very energetic, fun, and caring teacher. For Beginning Japanese 1, she is an excellent choice. She introduces students to the language so well. She definitely makes you work and you have to do quite a bit of homework, but that's normal for learning languages. Class presentations are required, but she somehow makes these fun for us.

If you are going to take Beg. Jap 1, you gotta take it with Lee sensei because she is just awesome and she only teaches the Beginning 1 course. She's very caring and as long as you focus, do the work and study for her exams, you will do fine in the class. Best Japanese professor I had!

Lee-sensei is a great Japanese teacher! She explains grammar in an easily understandable manner, and creates a relaxed atmosphere where students are free to ask questions. You have to memorize hiragana and katakana, but she goes through the characters often and gives plenty of opportunities to practice. Her exams are very easy, and I recommend her.

Lee-Sensee is the best possible teacher for Beginning Japanese I! She is very friendly and approachable, and makes class fun and relaxed while still giving us lots of work. Don't slack off and you will enjoy her class!

I loved Lee Sensee! She made sure everything was clear and was very funny and nice. We had a lot of fun in our class that quarter. I'd recommend her. Workload is doable, but lots of memorization (obviously). If you work hard, you can get an A, just don't slack!
