I took two of of Misha's classes during the same quarter. He subtly introduces students to the social science behind modern socialist thought, while interpreting current political developments. I and other students found his grading method elusive. Grades felt like they were given almost arbitrarily, as though to satisfy a normal distribution.

Great professor, inspired me to major in Political Science through a new perspective. He does give out pop quizzes which is how he manages attendance, so it is important to attend class. However as long as you attend class and complete all assignments you will pass.

Professor Myagkov explains everything fairly well, but he doesn't have any slides or anything, you so must come to class and take notes to pass. He also doesn't tell when quizzes are, and attendance are part of your grade, so it's better in the long run to go to class. It's a fairly bland subject.

Best professor at UO. Extremely intelligent and very easygoing.. He makes going to class fun, you forget that you're learning when you listen to him talk. Highly recommended.

I actually learned quite a bit from Misha. And with respect to not learning anything from him, as the rater prior to this posting had mentioned, it all depends on much you put into it. If you are a passive learner then you probably won't learn much. But in my experience, I paid attention, and learned a lot.

Misha is a **** pig and I'm not even a feminazi! He believes that women should be seen, not heard.
