Tough class; quizzes nearly every day, and pretty tough exams. I do not reccommend taking this professor if you have another option. He isn't very competent in explaining things this level in math can understand: he often incorporates upper level math in this course that no one can understand. His tries to trick you in his exams.

I had him for Calc 2 and he was by far the worst professor I have had at SMU. I am a very strong math student and did not like his class and did not do well in it. I studied a ton, but his exams are not comparable to the homework assignments. And when I went to see him for help he was useless and rude.

i had him for calc 2 and his homework is not taken up, you have a quiz every class basically, and his tests arent too terrible. only downside, youll have to teach yourself. he beats around the bush in class. but overall nice, understanding guy

Good professor, made things fairly easy to understand. Almost everything he teaches, he will say that it is "fairly straightforward." Thankfully, the way he teaches DOES make everything straightforward. Do the homework though, he always grades them. Curves the exams slightly
