I thought she was a good teacher. Go to the lectures and take side notes if needed, and you will be fine. There are quizes in recitations, so you need to go, but they were a waste of time. They were a poor regurgitation of the lecture. Ask questions in class if you're confused, and she's bad at responding to e-mails.

Her teaching style is good (powerpoint with lots of examples and sample problems). You only need the book for homework. Her tests are not that hard if you check your work over (a lot of definitions, knowing the material), and it's multiple choice (which has it's ups and downs). There WAS curve in en

Somehow I have 100% on my quizzes and homeworks, went to every lecture, yet managed to get D's on the exams. Tests, homeworks, and class examples are all very different from one another. I definitely wouldn't recommend her. And plus, she gets visably annoyed when questions are asked in lecture.

Short with students, but you can work through that. She's not always clear with explanations. Courseweb use is great though. Quizzes/tests are easy if you do your homework. I'd take a class with her again.

You will think you know EVERYTHING in the class. You can know every example and all the homework problems, and yet still not do well on the tests. The tests are VERY poor representations of your effort/knowledge.

Hated his class doesnt speak english very well and tests are very unfair. I really enjoyed how my stats 1100 friends took the same tests after learning more about the subject making it easier for them. Would never take a class from here again!

She is such a sweet lady. She has deep knowledge of the subject and instructs with focus and clarity. Homework is more of busy work than useful practice, mostly because the notes are sufficient for learning. Definately take this class with Dr. Wolf; though sometimes boring, very savvy on the matter

Perhaps one of the slowest teachers ever. Skipped half the classes and still got an A. Zero personality. Adequate teacher, but tries to make it seem like stats is impossible to teacher yourself (which it most definitely is not).
