I LOVE HERR! and the reason some of you think "she hasn't taught elementary in so long" is becacuse she was NEVER an elementary teacher DUH she teaches COLLEGE and does an excellent job at it! get to know her and she'll help you! RECOMMEND!!!

She's intimidating at first, but overall she's not so bad. Make sure you READ your book and study for test. The only thing that is negative about her is that she is VERY unclear on how to do assignments so make sure you ask her what she expects.

Curr Dev-Class is geared toward Kindergarten only, but its not her fault. Read chapters and take notes during class. She puts off the wall class discussion material on the test. She was actually laid back on the teaching lessons. I recommend taking this class during the summer.

I always heard she was EXTREMELY hard so I was worried about it. BUT she's not bad at all. At first she's kind of intimidating but you will soon realize she's pretty easy going. Just be sure to READ and STUDY for tests! I would suggest taking her.

Most of the time she is not very clear of what she expects of an assignment. You do about 7 out of class observations, but they are not that bad. Her tests in this class were hard. Everyone averaged a low B, high C on them. Study the nit-picky stuff. She is a very knowlegable lady. Overall, she is alright.

I didn't mind this class too much, I know that she has a bad rep from some people, but if you read she is fine. Don't be worried after the first few weeks, she seems hard core, but then eases up a bit. Just keep up your reading-it's stuff you need to know anyway to get out! :)

I really enjoyed her class. She will keep you on your toes so read the chapter before class but really it ends up helping you in the long run. The test are what your read but mostly what she covers in class. I really liked her and the class! It's not that hard if you do the work.

You can tell that her specialization is preschool aged children because sometimes it feels like she thinks she's teaching a class of preschoolers and not college students, however, she is a very good teacher. It's also a good idea to read what she assigns, she will call on you in class.
