is not helpful at all!!! she does not care if you pass the class. she is very lazy and takes weeks to return papers. not to mention she is rude too. her only advice/feedback she ever gave me was "so what". i do not recommend.

Nan is the best English teacher I've ever had, and I'm a better writer because of her. Her teaching style supported the class's development, both as a community and as individual writers. I think differently because of this class, and I was never bored for a minute. Highly recommended, but not an easy A unless you're already a decent writer. I had to work for it!

Her lectures are boring but her class is easy.She gives enough extra credit to raise you a whole grade. No tests. 4 essays that you can basically rewrite your lecture notes for. I got an A and I was baked the whole time! Oh and DONT buy the grammar book-u wont use it!

Wonderful experience in her new class, Literature and the Environment. Nan is a great teacher, I would suggest this class with her to anyone with an open mind and a love for nature. Great assignments but a good amount of time and work. She is always willing to work with you to improve your grade. I will miss this class!

Lots of work required but teacher is really nice, and interesting, and really cares about the material and students unlike most teachers. I didn't mind doing the work because of her. I'd recommend her to anyone interested in English or the environment, probably not for others though.

Worst teacher I've ever taken from. Cruel and biased, whiney, and annoying. I would never take another class from her if my degree depended on it. If you can take this class from someone else, do! If you're already in her class, run away as fast as you can!
