Alum here. Found the class very helpful and challenging - we had to pull together a show from various texts. Good challenge in team work and creativity. I did find that Nora plays favorites in her casting, which was a bummer, but I understood. She's a good person.

The thing is: all the things said here about Nora are true, the good and the bad. She is as crazy as a loon, and she can be utterly useless, but she is extremely caring, both about her students and about theatre. She wants good, hard work but doesn't always recognize it in herself. I had problems with her but mostly I came to love her. She's great.

This is also from an alum, and I would say that Nora reflects exactly how much Wellesley cares about theater. There is no reason that such a prestigious college cannot hire a more qualified professor.

She's completely insane, in a good sense and a bad one. Being alone with her in a room is rather awkward. She tends to play favorites, but her class is a lot of fun. It's an extremely difficult class.
