I love Rufus. He's so funny and helpful. However, don't catch him on a bad day or when someone else has just come to him with a problem. He likes self-sustaining people and won't deal well with slackers.

Spent 2 years as a Rufus Student... He is a wonderful teacher, very helpful. However... He is not for people with thin skin. If you get offended easily, or don't take criticism well, then I wouldn't suggest him. Very intelligent and knowledgeable in Photography though! Great guy. Will even come bail you out of jail if you need him to.

Superb instructor who is passionate about his topic. He is always willing to help and explains things very well. Rufus is open to new ideas and interpretations. I highly recommend that you take his class if you're looking to improve your skills behind the lens and with PS.

Ive learned alot in Rufus' class! His assignments are challenging, but thats what is so fun about it! He'll work with you if you ask. Even though he can tend to be critical, his criticism is what makes you strive to do better. I just love all of his classe

Tells his students HIS first name in O. to avoid people knowing it's OPAL! Overall, he's an ok teacher. If you take photographs, you'll pass. If you constantly stroke his ego, you'll make an A. He seems to have no understanding of how much film costs.
