missed 7 times because i am in the military so i couldn't make all of the classes. the absences knocked me down to a D. 3 free absences and 4 more absences will make an 84 a 64. most prof understood my situation, she did not. don't take her if you do anything outside of school that will cause you to miss, she takes attendance very serious.

She doesn't seem to have the best knowledge in the fine arts. I think I learned more in my high school humanities class about fine arts! Pretty easy as long as you read and do critiques, but if you really want to learn, don't take her.

Paige Bishop is the worst teacher I have ever had. Her knowledge is worse than elementary, and her professional experience is laughable. Based off of what I have witnessed, she is nowhere near intelligent enough to be teaching anyone anything. I am a BFA theatre major taking an "advanced" elective, and I feel insulted for having to pay almost $700.

She's a good teacher who knows her stuff but she talks an awful lot about herself... and I mean a lot. You only have one test, don't bomb it because it weighs heavily on your grade. Some times, she will spend the entire time talking and you sit there for an hour or so.

Bishop is really nice, but a little strange. If you don't have an interest in the arts, like me, this class will make you fall asleep. Don't bother buying the $120 text book, its a waste of money because the tests are only over the notes. There are 4 tests and 3 critiques (art exhibit, concert, play) so there is outside work.

Bishop is a very sweet and considerate lady. The class was fairly interesting, and gave you a pretty good scope of the world of art. Her tests are pretty easy as long as you read what she suggests, and study the notes from class.

Very strange professor. She started off ok, but got very agitated at stuff that happens frequently in all school such as missed assignments. hard to follow at times, but she does tell you exactly what to read in the text and if you do that you'll do fine on that part of the test. rest is multiple choice from lecture.

Horrible teacher. Very boring and contradicts herself frequently. Kept saying come to her office if to ask questions about your critique. I went after her frequent encouragment in class and when i asked her she rudely said i have 100+ students and dont keep up with why they get points deducted. Also test are very hard. Shes going to ruin my 4.0

Summer class was hot and the lectures dragged on but sometimes interesting. Easy class, show up everyday and do reading it is an easy A. Have to see a play and write a short paper. Turn it in early, it will be appreciated. Teacher very enthusiastic.

Lectures are borring most of the time, some can be interesting. Critiques can either be a pian or a joy, depending on your outlook. i would recomend here, just read the book and go to class and do the homework and an A isen't far off.

She is a decent teacher... Really weird lady though... In terms of the class.. tests are easy right from notes BUT the critiques are what will kill you, there is no half points one mess up from her EXACT instructions and you loose 10 points out of 100 automatically

Good teacher, easy enough class, multiple choice tests, and she adresses the various topics pretty thuroughly yet at times comes across as narcistic. Wish her coverage of music wasn't as limited as it was and felt like it was presented with a since of assurance yet with minimal knowledge of some of the more important artists it should have covered.
