He gives a study guide before each test which is a huge help. It helps to have the book! I was able to pass 300 with him without a book but 406 I definitely needed the book.

This is an ideal college course (+ life lesson), meaning you get exactly what you ask for/put in. Prof. Price is proficient in Finance, which is a vast, dense subject. Go to class and you'll do fine. Put in some effort, and you'll learn a lot. He emphasizes student questions & participation, so you literally learn as much or as little as you want.

I agree with the lower comments. If you're a finance major, don't take him. If you just have to take it, take him. Very easy. Gives a study guide with 20 questions and there are 20 questions on the exam. Very up forward and basic. No detailed stuff

A very fair teacher. Make sure you attend class because having good attendance will really benefit you when finals roll around. Make sure you take advantage of the study guides and find the information for each topic.

Poor teaching skills. u have to take his study guide & search for those topic on your own and study from there & try to make it understandable to yourself. He does not explain well or at times, do not explain about the topic he will put on the test. u will not learn much out of his class if you expect or want to learn in depth about finance.

MGMT majors - take him and FNAN majors - don't take him if you want an in depth coverage of the book.. Teaches what you'll actually use in daily business. 7 tests (16 questions) (1-2 ch each test). Study guide is basically the test. Real nice, no hard calucations and isn't tricky. Final is optional if it can help your grade or you have an A.

AWESOME TEACHER! Just read the chapters and tests come straight from his study guides. He always lets class off at least 20 minutes early. If you have an A in the class, you don't have to take the final! Take him!

HORRIBLE! He doesn't teach only goes over review problems, and doesn't explain them well. He may know econ, but he doesn't know how to pass that knowledge to his students. Not a good teacher; know econ and you'll pass, otherwise DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HIM!!!

He really knows his stuff. It was definitely an interesting class but it was hard. You gotta go to class to get whats going on but if you go and PAY ATTENTION you should do fine. He can sometimes come across as being slightly rude but he's nice and I found him funny. Test can be a little tricky but if you go to class you'll be ok.

Very inflexible about policies. No homework, no classwork, just tests. He doesn't lecture, just gives answers to chapter review. Self-taught learners take this man otherwise fall into the abyss known as econ 201. If you are not self-directed, you will fail. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!!
