I think he's an outstanding professor. His lectures are interesting and he explains himself very well. His tests are sort of intimidating but as long as you take good notes during lecture and read the material he assigns then you'll do fine.

He tells you to Read. He tells you to take notes. Then almost nothing of what you read or took notes on is directly on the test. Random you can never prepare enough cause you never know what this arrogant tool is gonna put on the test. Very hard, standards like its Rutgers not ccm. Commands respect like the Pope, hell throw you out if you don't bow

His course was my intro to sociology and I got a lot out of it. He's a pretty serious guy but will help you if you ask. I believe he embodies the value-free approach well as he's not closed-minded or dismissive of social criticism like some other soc profs. I got a solid foundation in this class without breaking my back. I recommend him highly.

Great Professor!! I had him two year ago for Contemporary Social Issues, and it was a very interesting class. He used real life situations to explain the material. Take REALLY THOROUGH notes because his exams are based solely on the information he gives in class. He likes to give essays on tests too, so be prepared and use alot of examples!

On his tests, he likes when you write very detailed essays and long ones with a lot of examples so make sure you pay attention to examples he gives you in class about certain topics! :) I highly recommend taking him

He was a great professor, I really liked him. Class was always interesting, and he makes you think about real life situations. DO take good notes though, because his tests are always based on notes. Definitely the one to take for sociology. He makes a seeemingly boring subject fun.
