I'm writing this review as someone who did well in this course. Although I did well, Professor Persia was the RUDEST professor I have ever had. I'm thinking about writing an email to the head of the english department about him. Terrible professor.

College Comp with Persia is unbearable. He is a strict teacher as well as a strict grader. He doesn't tell you what he expects from you until you do it wrong, then he will embarrass you in front of the class and make you feel stupid. Losing my love for English. And quite rapidly.

Prof. Persia is a good teacher. So what if he makes you read out loud, public speaking is a part of life. He is so lenient on grading, I love it. As long as you talk to him in person you can usually persuade him to let you hand most any assignment in late.

I really dont know what these people are talking about! Prof. Persia is great! He might be critical of your writing, but hey, it's a CREATIVE WRITING class. What do you expect? I learned alot from him. He is also very understanding and lenient if you ask him to give you extra time to finish an assignment. This class was really fun! YOu wont regret

Not my favorite professor. He will not hide it if he thinks you're stupid. He asks for people to answer questions but then interrupts as soon as you start talking. The class was pretty easy though. Get over your fear of peer reviewing and of reading out-loud cause it's mandatory here. I would not suggest this professor to anyone.

Honestly, I have never met such a negative teacher. He says he will open it up for class discussion, however he manages to be the only one talking despite who has something to say. He makes you read stuff in front of the class, and if you are comfortable it does not matter, it is required. He will rip you apart too for about 20 mins. STAY AWAY.

He is a nice guy, but very boring. He is a hard grader. Even if you think you have done well, you have not with him. One that really upsets me is he interupts you when you start talking. He talks and everyone is sleeping. Do not take english with him.

He's a nice guy, but very boring. Most of the time everyone in class is sleeping. You have a new essay to write every week, and a lot of times he gives everyone bad grades no matter how good you think you wrote. Although, he let's you revise your essays so you can raise your grade. I wouldn't recommend taking English with him.. seriously.

I liked taking creative writing with him. Topics were open and u got to really be creative, he is kind of a hard grader but if u have good writing skills and are willing to put in some time u should do fine. If u are lazy and want to skate by dont take this class with him, there is quite a bit of work. No quizzes though.

this guy is unbelievable. he is right, you are wrong. no matter what. and grades accordingly. hes just an amateur. his criticism is insulting. i was looking forward to creative writing, hoping to have some fun, but he just killed it for me. avoid his class at all costs. i wish i had never taken it.
