Dr. Golson was amazing! I loved going to his classes. He makes them fun for his class. Has a sense of humor, I was laughing all the time. Great guy and excellent teacher. If you get the chance to take him do it. He is awesome!

Dr. Golson is a great professor for MUS 105. He definitely knows what he's talking about and is really excited about it! Sometimes, he tries to be a little too funny and sometimes he actually is funny! He takes attendance every day, so you have to go, but its not that bad. I def. recommed him!!

Golson made class interesting. He had some corny jokes but you learn to laugh at them. Don't ask him too many questions outside of class, he's not always the easiest person to talk to one-on-one; especially if he is repeating something he said in class that you didn't catch. All notes are online, so don't worry if you miss some of them. Pretty easy

awesome, talented teacher. actually looked forward to class. tests are not online anymore - but they are stilll WAY easy. all you have to do is read over the ppt slides like twice. He makes the class go by fast. I strongly reccommend taking him!

Defintely thought that he was funny guy! he didnt have a lame sense of humor like you other people are talking about. his test this semester werent online, so that tougher, but still not very tough at all. but hes hilarious and teaches well. definitely recommended!

the first day of class this guy proclaimed that he would be the coolest and easiest to talk to teacher we would ever meet. he forgot to mention that he is ill tempered, has the lamest sense of humor ever, and he is extremely egotistic. the class, on the other hand is easy. But... so are ALL music appreciation sections. Suggestion: diff. teacher!!!!

Golson really knows his stuff has great sense of humor etc...But, he flat out told me that he expected more from me than other students on my 1st concert review just because I was in band with him. So, if your previously one of his students, he may grade you harder. Not cool.

Super easy class... Tests are on-line and are open note and open book. Class can get a little boring at times, but he tries to make jokes to make it better. He does take attendence and it makes up part of your grade. I'd recommend him.
