Prof. Hahn is a really good. He is however for the more active student, moving rather quickly through topics and covering much more ground than the other diff eq profs. If you really want to understand the material you will have to work but you will be ahead of the other classes

Comment:

Very organized, and extremely thorough lectures. Unfortunately this translates to VERY fast lectures, as well. Prof. Hahn has a passion for teaching, and he is quite skilled at it. His exams are a bit more difficult than the book problems, but understanding the homework goes a long way to doing well. Very willing to help outside of class.

very helpful cares deeply about his students. he teatches 223 and 224. he likes 224 much more, so take thatone with him. class is fun, he keeps a serious face, so when he tells jokes they are eqtra funny. Homework could be hard if he makes it, ok if it is from book. Tests are mostly simple, do homework = A, Exam for 223 was very hard, study much.

He does a great job explaining the material, and does his best to make it somewhat interesting. Always asks for questions, and is willing to help. Sometimes goes a little fast, but overall great teacher.

Maybe he just likes BMEs (234) better but 224 sucked. He was really bad at explaining things and went really fast. The only time I learned something was when we had Peter Garfield as a substitute. He assigned stupid group projects that are a lot of work but barely count for anything grade-wise.

He was exteremely nice and always answered all of my questions. We had many great discussions during office hours about numerous topics which were quite interesting and helpful. In the classroom, he was clear and concise. Questions were welcomed and encouraged. Lecutres were interesting and informative. It is my favorite class.

His lectures are straight from the book, but he presents in a very clear and concise manner. Go to lecture, read the book, do the practice problems, and you're set. If you have questions, he'll take as much time as needed to help. The quizzes and exams are very straightforward.

The Diff Eq Class could be hard if anyone else taught it, but he makes it all seem so simple. Intesnse lectures make reading the book almost optional. Honestly one of the best Math teachers around
