The course material itself is a review of everything done to this point, making it really dry. A lot of "busy work". Weekly quizzes, case analyses, papers. Two assignments make up a majority of the points. She is really helpful if you are willing to ask.

She has daily quizzes over the chapters, two case studies, a group case study presentation, one paper, and a group marketing plan analysis. Overall the class is very simple. Things can get kind of busy if you have your case studies due a week apart.

Dr. M is unique to say the least, a little scattered brain at times. Hope you enjoy group projects and group work. Tests are on the hard side and I have figured out her grading system yet. Class size is too big to be comfortable to sit for that length of time.

She expect you understand everything from reading the text, and doesn't teach you anything in class. Lots of serious work that will keep you busy & tired for a whole qtr. Unfortunately, there was no other teacher that teaches this class so I had no choice. Choose other prof. if you can!

Goodness, I feel dumber for taking this class. She doesn't teach, she forces students to teach each other, prides herself on busy work, and is critical when you confront her. She states one thing in her instructions and expects something different. I'm retaking marketing from someone who can actually teach me something useful.

She's a horrible instructor. She expects students to read and understand an entire chapter before coming to class. You are then tested at the start of each class based on the assigned reading. She does NO teaching at all. Her lectures only confuse you and contradict the material that you read before coming to class.

Wow, easy quizes before going over the material, but why go over the material after taking the quiz and not being tested again. It's redundant! Just remember, for her Opportunities are external while other profs allow them to be extenal or internal.

This class was very easy, and I learned a lot. There are weekly quizes based on vocab from the textbook. There are also three essay tests, but the final was optional. I think Dr. Maldonado is a very good professor.

I thought I would really enjoy this class but Maldonado just can't get past herself in class... She follows powerpoints and is very unclear about what is important info and what is not! Just a bunch of confusing words that are actually just common sense... If you've taken econ and don't need this class, don't take it!

This class should be called intro to common sense. If you aren't required to take this dont. Its a complete waste of time. You learn big words for common sense topics. Maldanado had just a little too much attitude. Take it from buxton if you have to take it. He at least cares.

Dr. Maldonado is a great professor. She knows what she is talking about and understands how the "real world" is going to treat us once we are out of college. I would definitely recommend taking her for any marketing class because it will definitely help you out in the future. A+.
