Comment:

Took his 8 Week course for English 101. Theres 5 easy essays. I wrote every essay the night before the due date and still got A+s on every essay. The midterm was like a 4 paragraph page long essay and everyone passed easily because he told you exactly what he was gonna grade on. I think the longest essay was 5-8 pages long. EASY A, TAKE HIM!

Really easy class. All you have to do is write essays and do the lab which is just sit in the computer lab and do easy modules. This class is super easy to get a A in but the only this bad is that he is super dry and super boring . The lectures are bone dry and he tries to be funny but its just annoying. But he is a super nice guy though. Take it

Great teacher! Took him for English 201 during summer course and he really cares about his students, as long as he sees you are putting in an effort and want to pass he will help you. Papers were 5-6 pgs. and topics were a bit challenging but he is clear on what he is looking for and even reads your paper before you turn it in to provide feedback.

This Professor seems like a great one overall. He does not beat around the bush; he is pretty straight forward about the assignments. As long as you do what is asked, which isn't much, then you shouldn't have a problem. Loved taking this course, it was very interesting! I would take again, without a thought! (:

I took engl 101 with professor markossian and i got a D. i took it with ralph velaquez in the summer and i got an A. This guy is super chill and i can guarantee that you will pass his class. TAKE HIS CLASS TRUST ME I HATE ENGLISH BUT WITH HIM ITS SUPER CHILL. almost everyone got an A in his class!!

Professor Vazquez is a laid back kind of dude. He gives challenging essay assignments and gives good feedback. Make sure you do your homework because it can make a difference towards your grade. Homework assignments might seem a lot to do but they are easy. Overall this is a good class, you learn a lot about essay writing and proper grammar.

He is not a good professor, but he is a nice guy. He is frequently absent and late. He gives a lot of text book homework, which he does not go over. You don't learn much from his class lectures, they are vague and mainly about random stuff. You will learn more from the text book than him. We had 5 essays and homework every day.

Mr. Velazquez was an amazing teacher. He teaches great quality of work. He is absent all the time, which is awesome. I highly recommend this teacher for the students that like to chill. By the way, I love his bold dark eyes, they are quite attractive...^_^

Had him for Cinema as Lit in Fall '11. Fun class, interesting topics, I can never watch a film again without analyzing its plot, lighting, pointing out contrast cuts and other film techniques. He allows and encourages student interaction and is very reasonable as far as the work load.
