Dr. Scheele has lots of experience working on various statewide campaigns in Indiana, which makes for amazing lectures. However, his class is super challenging. There only three grades: an essay final and midterm on which anything in the book or from lecture is fair game and a 15 page term paper which is ill-defined.

Comment:

Scheele knows what he is talking about and it is worth going to class. A couple times he can be a little boring with the lecture but most of the time he does an interesting lecture. He is available outside of class for help and he curves the tests accordingly. Having an interest in Political science will help you do better.

You need to have an interest in political science if you take this class with him. I read about politics a lot, and I didn't even have to study too much for his tests. But, I like politics. I can see how they would be challenging to people who were new to the topic. If you are new to the concept, then you might wanna take it with someone else.

I learned so much for an intro class...he has an F'd up curving system...i did poorly on the first exam but once u learn whats on the test it gets easier...i set the curve on the last two tests....not an easy course, but if you wanna learn take it fo sho

Prof Sheele REALLY knows his stuff! This class is so interesting! I learned a lot. There were times I often looked at my watch and wished we had more time, because he was on a role with what he was talking about. I think to succeed in this class, you must have an interest in political science.

Please quit claiming that Dr. Scheele is a wonderful prof. I'm not exaggerating when I say I studied for several days before each of his tests, but yet I still got low C's. That is not how assessment should be.
