I took her online class, and what a mess. She gave feedback in class emails only vaguing students on what they did wrong . Lots of online posting and reading material. NO personal opinions! And NO outside sources! Just regurgitating material provided. Seriously what a shame, could have been a great class on an important topic.

I took this over the winter break, fully online. I selected the easy A for the difficulty, but there is one caveat to that: you have to actually do the work. A couple of the weeks were heavier than the rest, including one that had 4 full length films to watch. Overall very enjoyable though. NO BOOK, she uploads required readings in Titanium.

Took this class online and needed to post five times a week. The posts need to be on the material and not personal opinions which can be difficult because the issues are easy to relate to. Do the work and follow the syllabus and you should be fine. Remember to NOT post personal opinions just give a summary and key points of the reading.

I took her for winter session, and regardless of the extensive reading, it was rather enjoyable. I am not the best writer either, but as long as you summarize and steer away from your personal opinion and back up your writing with facts; you will be fine. If you are not a lazy student, you will do just great in her class. Easy A if you do the work.

I took WGST302 online and wasn't pleased with the way she handled grading. She gave no feedback; you either got the point our you didn't. She's big on not putting your personal opinion, but rather "analyzing" the material. Unfortunately, those lines are blurry and easy to cross. With no feedback, I never knew if I was on the right track or not.

Taking this as an elective. Good class, but take caution. This class contains A. LOT. of reading material in a week. One week can have up to 4 readings, 2 films, a short video, and the chapter powerpoint, ALL before being able to post your 5 discussion post. I've never had a class that required this much work; Stay on top of it, and you'll be okay.

This was the easiest A I have ever gotten in college. I showed up to class 3 times, twice in the beginning and one at the end and still passed with flying colors. Her class is based on discussion, and weekly modules that have to be turned in online, followed by a skype video call to the professor to show that your group is there.

This course is not as easy at it seems. However, it does pay off at the end. 5 week summer course, intensive reading! Must know all material to write good discussion forums but hard part is Media Dictionary! Overall, I thought I wasn't going to pass the class but I did.

Dr. Bredin is an amazing professor! If you want a quick and easy class, try to take WGST 360 online with her! Though it's online, the topics and readers were very interesting! My favorite online class ever!

At first I hated this class, but I did learn a lot and the forum posts really aren't that hard. She will grade you very low if you put your OPINION, so just stay away from personal opinion and you'll get A's. The class is simple: one post each week due Mondays and reply to 4 other students by Thursday. No tests, and one term long project. Easy!

This class was very interesting. I learned a lot not just about women but also about other genders. The only huge downside to the teacher is that she grades harshly on the discussion forums. What she wants on her assignments is a lot of analysis. Because of this class I am taking another class in this field next semester. Also no textbook.

I took WGST 100 online, thinking it would be an easy class and a GE to get out of the way. This class is impossible if you are otherwise a full time student, full time employee or have any kind of life. She posts A LOT of lectures/readings/texts/movies per week, and you must write the equivilant of a short essay due on thursdays. It's horrible.

Professor Bredin has interesting texts to read and movies to watch but she does grade harshly. Her midterm project was fairly easy if you put work into it, and the final is an essay. Weekly discussions make up the most points.

Her weekly discussions are worth half the class, lowest 5 dropped. She grades harshly at the beginning but lightens up later on to encourage you to participate in all 15 discussions. Her mid semester project was a bit hard. Her final project is 2000 words analysis which is an easy perfect score if you put in the effort and proofread it.

There is a lot to readwatch for this class but you have plenty of time to do it. There is one project, and you have your responsespeer responses due every week. She is very helpful if you need her, she responds to emails fast. Do not slack off in this class just because it's online. If you participate, it'll benefit you at the end of semester.

Discussions every week require a lot of reading and sometimes a film or 2. Can't use opinion or assumptions. You really have to think and analyze the readings. Final was a 2 pg essay single spaced and midterm was slideshow of art and how it relates to class or 3-4 pg story of topic related to class single spaced. Lots of work and thinking required

Apparently her in person class is good but you want to avoid her online class. 100 points total. 15 weekly discussion 5 points each top 10 counted, weekly participation 1 point each, 15 mid semester project, 20 point final. She grades the weekly discussions very harshly. She treats this class like we're all WGST majors when it's a GE class.

This class is not your average 100 class. She actually makes you think about the subject, and makes you engage in discussions about assigned topics and makes you refrain from personal opinion. I enjoyed this class - you have to work for an A. Lots of reading and videos to watch. The teacher is there to help if you need it.
