All of her readings are online, and you have like 2 online quizzes due each week. Each quiz is easy though, a single question from the reading. Theres a semester long group project where you run an experiment and write an APA Paper. Shes a tough grader, so you have to be very specific on the 4 topic tests.

Terrible!!! She grades super hard for no reason, all her classes are before noon. She assigns so much reading! Only good thing is attendance isn't mandatory, but that's how she gets you, SO GO TO EVERY CLASS IF YOU HAVE HER!!! I took her three times and still haven't passed.

Tests are ridiculously hard, and toughly graded. I'm an A student and I had a C in this class. Doing all the reading, assignments, and going to all of the classes will not reflect in your grade. DO NOT TAKE.

She's a great professor, you need to do the reading & pay attention in class to pass. Don't be shopping online instead of taking notes. She's a tough grader but everything is on a curve if you actually do the work you'll pass. She assigns a realistic amount of reading so make sure you do it before class. If you fail this class reconsider your major

Definitely don't skip class if possible; if you do, get the notes from a classmate as the powerpoint lectures were not posted online or handed out. The readings assigned helped me understand the material presented in lecture better. As long as you take detailed notes, do the readings, and study before exams you will be in good shape.

Worst test style I've ever experienced. The course material was easy, but the tests were a death sentence. She doesn't do quizzes, doesn't provide powerpoint slides, and no study guides. She's obsessed with her former undergrad advisor and former professor as well. Her "textbooks" are just books written by them. You have nothing to study from.

I took PSY361 with Bator online over the winter. All I have to say is DO NOT DO IT!! It is an extreme amount of work that will take up every last bit of your time. You have 3 tests every few days that involve you writing out long response questions to 20+ questions each test. She expects a lot out of your answers and is a very harsh grader.

Her expectations are very straight forward and are far from unreasonable. The class is fairly easy as long as you complete the assigned readings; if you don't complete the assigned readings you will most likely struggle with the exams. The final exam is optional - it will replace your lowest exam grade. Only one paper was assigned for the course.

This was the hardest class I've ever taken. I have never tried harder in a class and studied harder and not gotten the grades to show for it. There is a one question quiz every day based off of the assigned reading. You must write down everything she says in class word for word in class to have a chance of doing okay on the exams. Tough grader.

Horrible professor! This is my third time having her for a class and she gets ruder every time. Must write down EVERYTHING she says to do well on tests. The paper is unfairly graded. I missed a class for a medical reason and she refused to let me make up missed work.

Extremely knowledgeable in her subject area. She lives it. Her tests are difficulty only because people don't take the time to memorize the details of the studies she WILL ask about. Rarely responds to e-mails and will not excuse absences or missed work even with medical documentaton. Take her class, show up, and STUDY. She's a great professor.

Dr. Bator's tests were some of the hardest I have ever taken. That being said, if you participate, are attendant, TAKE NOTES, etc. you can end up with a good grade. By the time she distributes your grades at the end, you might be surprised. I liked her a lot and found her to be very helpful and nice. She has a good sense of humor too.

Exams are very hard. Seems like the more you study the worse you do. All exams are short answer with hardly enough time to finish. When you ask for help, she basically tells you to figure it out yourself. Don't take classes with her if you plan on keeping up a high GPA.

somehow I managed to get a B in this class, but was miserable sitting through it. She is too blah and the lecture material is very dry. Don't even go to class as long as you READ AND UNDERSTAND the book your fine.
